Cabinetry Designer / Sales
Seeking to hire an experienced Cabinetry Designer & Sales person for a fast-growing cabinet manufacturing company.
The Sales person will perform duties which include (but not limited to) recommending products, creating designs with cabinets, informing customers on pricing, and order status. Conducting sales, building relationships with clients. Performing duties such as drawing, designing custom cabinetry, entering new orders, reaching out to vendors on special orders, tracking and fulfilling orders, and resolving issues.
Cabinet Design/Sales Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in-person, as needed, to understand their vision and requirements of the project or the changes on the project.
- Guide customer, as needed, with creative ideas to accomplish their kitchen project objective.
- Measure, draw, design and present kitchen and bath projects using AutoCad design program.
- Create an estimate using in our pricing software, based on the design created.
- Act as a liaison between company, customer, and vendors.
- Review and oversee design projects throughout ordering and installation phases, and address any problems that may arise, including ordering additional product if necessary
- Proactively anticipate/confirm customer needs to eliminate design/estimate re-work where possible.
- Ensure that the customer is satisfied with the final design provided.
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Maximize sales and support overall operation of cabinet department
Requirements:
- 5 years previous cabinet design and sales experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel) and AutoCad
- Demonstrated success in a retail environment
- Successful candidates will be self-motivated and organized with strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
- Physical ability to move large, bulky, and/or heavy merchandise.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing.
- Quick learner with a positive mindset.
- Task-driven; a patient individual who enjoys developing a high degree of task specialization.
- Have design education background/work experience; ability to visualize in 3 dimensions.
- Skilled in using simple mental math.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused team player.
