Financial Controller – Finance Operations
Location: Busek Co., Inc.
Busek is seeking a dynamic Financial Controller to lead and support our finance operations. In this pivotal role, you will develop scalable accounting processes, oversee the issuance of corporate financial statements, and collaborate closely with corporate accounting on journal entries, financial budgeting, and ERP system enhancements. Experience with Epicor ERP systems is highly desirable, and familiarity with Deltek is a plus. You will also perform in-depth analyses of past performance and contribute to pricing, contracts, and company-wide financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting department.
- Supervise accounts, credit managers, payroll managers, tax managers, and other finance roles.
- Prepare financial forecasting reports and corporate financial statements.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate audits and ensure tax compliance.
- Manage budgets and financial planning activities.
- Oversee the preparation and issuance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead ERP implementations and upgrades (Epicor).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on building and maturing finance processes and systems.
- Proven track record of working in small companies, developing reporting and analytics from the ground up.
- Experience with Deltek is helpful.
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
- Required to be onsite daily
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
