Our client in RI is seeking an IT Consultant to perform a Technology Assessment which will cover : IT Infrastructure and IT Security and associated Hardware, Software, and Process; and Compliance. The IT Consultant will review documentation, perform analysis, speak with key stakeholders, and review technical systems. The IT Consultant will investigate and report on current state, determine where gaps exist, compare with best practices, establish conformance to NIST standards, and present findings and suggestions for improvement.
To be considered, you must have :
- Formal experience performing Technology Assessments in the areas of IT Infrastructure and IT Security and associated Hardware, Software, and Process; and Compliance
- Strong understanding of Technology to include : Networks (LAN, WAN, Router, Switch, Cisco, VMWare, Veeam), Wireless (Meraki), Firewalls (Fortigate), Intrusion, Viruses, Malware, O365, Exchange, Dell, IBM
- Process oriented approach to Technology Assessments, RFPs, Proposals, and Roadmaps
- Experience with Quantitative Analysis and SWOT Analysis
- Understanding of NIST guidelines and compliance
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness / ability to be ONSITE - MUST BE LOCAL to RI
