Technical Writer/QA

Are you a Technical Writer with some QA Testing experience? Our Dallas-based client is searching for a Technical Writer to work remotely on a 3-month contract focused on testing a suite of web applications, with some time spent revising user documentation.

COMPENSATION: $25/HR depending on candidates experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, write, and edit user-facing materials including product guides, help pages, and application pages.
• Create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for a variety of applications.
• Collaborate with product managers to gather information and understand objectives.
• Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect changes in process and functionality.
• Ensure documentation is consistent in style, format, and quality.
• Execute manual testing to ensure the quality and accuracy of reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to identify and resolve defects in reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Technical Writer role,
• Experience with manual testing and documentation.
• Medical billing experience is a plus.
• Occasional weekends are required to assist with application promotions (scheduled in advance).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
