Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of copiers and printers at client locations. You will ensure optimal device performance and customer satisfaction by providing timely and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair copiers, printers, and multifunction devices from various manufacturers
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service to ensure equipment reliability
- Install and configure new devices, including network connectivity and software integration
- Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and inventory of parts
- Stay up to date with industry advancements and manufacturer training
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure excellent service
Qualifications:
- Experience in copier and printer repair preferred (Ricoh, Canon, Xerox, HP, or similar)
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Basic knowledge of networking and printer connectivity
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical diagrams
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment when necessary
