What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst IV- GTM Integrity & Risk Management position at Business Control Systems?

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the GTM Integrity & Risk Management department by developing and automating the maintenance of Power BI dashboards. This role plays a critical part in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making and business performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Retrieval & Automation : Identify raw data sources, understand data systems, and implement automation techniques for efficient data manipulation.
Data Analysis & Insights : Transform raw data into actionable insights that support business decisions and enhance operational performance.
Dashboard Development : Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with various departments to understand data needs, capture business requirements, and track progress on dashboard delivery.
KPI Management : Maintain an inventory of key performance indicators (KPIs), including defining and updating KPI metrics.
Training & Mentorship : Develop and deliver training sessions, mentor team members, and provide direction to staff, contractors, and consultants.
Process Improvement : Lead the development and continuous enhancement of team processes and procedural documents.
Ad-hoc Reporting : Respond to on-demand data requests, ensuring accurate and timely insights.

Qualifications & Skills :

Required :

Minimum 10 years of related experience , preferably in integrity, risk management, or the pipeline industry.

Strong project management skills with the ability to develop schedules, track actions, and drive projects to completion.

Ability to resolve problems, manage projects effectively, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Query).

Advanced proficiency in data visualization and dashboard development using Power BI.

Strong analytical skills with system-based thinking and the ability to understand interrelationships between different data systems.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence decisions without formal authority.

Self-motivated, independent, and innovative, with a strong work ethic and initiative .

Ability to travel within North America (U.S. and Canada) as required (up to 20%).

Preferred :

Prior experience in integrity or pipeline operations .

Experience developing executive-level dashboards for strategic decision-making.

Strong data analysis and data mining skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Power BI Dashboards).

Background in continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, RCA, Lean Management).

Informal leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, and conflict resolution .

Working Conditions :

Office environment with occasional travel (~20%) to U.S. or Canadian offices and / or site locations.

Ability to travel to Canada is required .

Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
