We are seeking a highly motivated Configuration Management Specialist to ensure the accuracy of facility configuration information at Oconee Nuclear Station in compliance with approved procedures and requirements. This role involves Configuration Management (CM) activities across multiple engineering disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Nuclear Engineering. The position requires proficiency in tools such as Microstation, Microsoft applications, and NAS/Fusion.

- Revise and issue documents per Engineering Changes (ECs) and Action Requests (ARs) using NAS, Microstation, Word, etc., including:
- As-Built Documents for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines
- Design Basis Documents (DBDs) and Specifications
- Safety-Related Items (SRI) & Safety-Related Groups (SRG)
- Cyber Security Documentation
- Issuance of VTOs
- Create, revise, delete, and assess equipment data records in the Equipment Database (EDB).
- Perform Configuration Management reviews of Engineering Changes, ensuring:
- Accuracy and consistency across design documents and databases.
- Proper documentation of as-built configurations post-EC implementation.
- Cyber Security Configuration Documentation is correctly entered in documents and EDB.
- New Equipment tags are created, including the use of the EDME bulk loading tool.
- Review and validation of document changes, symbols, and depictions for compliance with drawing standards and industry practices.
- Drawings are legible and usable for station personnel.
- Accept, process, and complete AR assignments, including:
- Creation and processing of CMU-ECs for ARs involving EDB and DEDB.
- Provide site-wide support for Configuration Management issues.
- Offer Configuration Management input at Cyber Security CSAT meetings regarding cyber document updates.
- Provide 24/7 outage coverage as needed.
- Working knowledge of Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) applications, Microsoft tools, and NAS/Fusion (EC, WR/WO, and EDB modules), or the ability to quickly develop competency based on education or experience with similar applications.
- Ability to work efficiently under high production rates and manage multiple tasks through effective work management.
- Adaptability to shifting work priorities and schedules, especially in response to emergent activities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with site personnel, including Management, Design Engineering, Nuclear Projects, Engineering Firms (EOCs), and Maintenance teams.
- Associate degree from a two-year technical school or community college.
- Background in engineering, maintenance, or operations within nuclear power plants.
- Experience in Nuclear Configuration Management and familiarity with tools such as Microstation, Microsoft, NAS, EDB, and Fusion.
- Understanding of Engineering Change and Equipment Database processes.
- Familiarity with cyber security documentation requirements.
- Knowledge of and compliance with Nuclear Procedures and CAD Standards.
- Experience designing piping systems and creating associated isometric drawings.
