ReNuke Services is seeking a Nuclear Configuration Specialist II for our client"s site in Seneca, SC
DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for maintaining facility configuration information accurately in compliance with approved procedures and requirements. It involves Configuration Management (CM) activities in all Engineering disciplines (i.e.: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Nuclear, etc). Work is performed using Microstation, Microsoft tools, NAS/Fusion, etc.
Responsibilities include:
* Revise and issue documents per EC"s and AR"s using NAS, Microstation, Word, etc:
* As-Build Documents (both Duke and Vendor) including:
o Civil, Mech, Elec.
o DBD"s and Specs
o Safety Related SRI & SRG
o Cyber Documents
* Issue VTO"s
* Create. Revise, Delete and Assess equipment data records in the Equipment Database (EDB).
* Perform Configuration Management reviews of Engineering Changes to include:
o Verification of approved configuration depiction and consistency across design documents and databases.
o Verification of all information needed to perform the as-built configurations of design documents and databases (EDB) after Engineering Change implementation.
o Verification Cyber Security Configuration Documentation is correctly entered in documents and databases (EDB)
o Creation of new Equipment tags including the use of the EDME bulk loading tool.
o Review of document changes to verify depicted equipment is adequately populated in EDB for station use.
o Review of document symbols and depiction for consistency with drawing standards and industry/Duke practices.
o Verifying drawing legibility for station users.
* Accept, Process, and Complete Action Request (AR) Assignments
* Create and process CMU-EC"s for AR"s involving EDB and DEDB
* Provide site-wide support for CM issues
* Provide CM input at Cyber Security CSAT meetings on cyber document updates
* Provide 24/7 Outage Coverage

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Working knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting applications, Microsoft tools and NAS/Fusion (e.g., EC, WR/WO and EDB modules), or the ability to quickly attain competency in these applications based on education or experience with similar work applications.
* Ability to perform at a high production rate and manage multiple tasks through effective work management of assigned duties. Adjust work priorities and schedules as it relates to CM and support emergent activities in a constructive and professional manner.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with site personnel (Management, Design Engineering, Nuclear Projects, Engineering Firms (EOCs), Maintenance, etc.).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate degree from a two-year technical school or community college.
* Background in engineering, maintenance or operations of nuclear power plants is preferred.
* Previous experience in Nuclear Configuration Management and use of associated applications (Microstation, Microsoft, NAS, EDB, Fusion, etc.)
* Familiarity with the Engineering Change and Equipment Data Base processes.
* Familiarity with cyber security documentation requirements.
* Knowledge of, and compliance with, Nuclear Procedures and CAD Standards.
* Experience with designing Piping Systems and creating the associated isometric drawings
