Business Development Representative positions NOW AVAILABLE at Hendrick Business Development Center in Charlotte, NC! We are looking for quality teammates who are eager to learn new skills and seek opportunities for growth within a rewarding business industry.
Job Summary:
As a Business Development Representative (BDC), your day-to-day includes researching leads, interacting with customers over the phone/internet, building positive relationships, and managing appointments to setup service closers for success.
Pay Range:
  • $42,000 per year and above ($20 per hour plus bonuses based on performance) - Top Performers earning $50k plus!!
Schedule:
  • Full Time, rotating day/evening/weekend shifts.
  • Office Hours Monday- Friday from 7:00am-7:00pm EST, optional extended shifts
Job Responsibilities
  • Answer all incoming phone calls according to a proven, pre-set script, and schedule service appointment.
  • Log all customer comments into Dealership Management System.
  • Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made in Dealership Management System.
  • Confirm scheduled appointments with future customers.
  • Post scheduled appointments on appointment board in the Business Development Center.
  • Re-schedule “no-show” customer appointments.
  • Follow-up with sales or service department to determine if the appointment was kept and what the outcome was. Schedule future contact as needed.
  • Maintain and update customer changes in database.
  • Contact current customer base on current marketing incentives.
  • Respond to customer website request (internet inquiries).
  • Contact internet clients via e-mail and phone to schedule a sales or service appointment.
  • Notify necessary departments to inform of appointments set.
  • Forward any customer concerns to the correct department Manager and follow-up.
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Engages in business development.
  • Establishes, develops and maintains positive business and customer relationships.
  • Continuously improves through feedback.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory Customer Service work experience.
Essential Skills:
  • Customer Service, Scheduling, Typing, Reporting skills, Data Entry, Problem Solving, Organization.
