Job Overview
The Office Administrator/Bookkeeper will be responsible for a range of duties pertaining to the daily operational functions of the business. The Office Administrator will provide assistance to all club department heads and Board of Governors, as required. The Office Administrator position reports to the Controller.
Duties
- Perform general bookkeeping tasks
- Assist in monthly/annual billing and closing procedures
- Data Entry
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable/payroll
- Bank deposits
- File Management
- Office and supply maintenance
- Website maintenance
- Timely vendor and member correspondence
- Assist department managers and board of governors with various tasks/projects
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bookkeeping/accounting knowledge
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Multi-tasker and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Trustworthy and reliable with the handling of confidential information
- Strong follow-up skills in all job aspects
- Resourceful and Tech-Savvy (website management knowledge is a plus)
Flexible hours. 15-20 hours/week in office. Must be able to work Mondays.
Job Type: Part-time
