Business Insider is hiring a Director / Manager Strategy & Operations to work closely with our SVP Strategy & Operations on project management, strategy reviews and strategic initiatives that will drive the company's growth.

The Role & Team :
- The Strategy & Operations team's mission is to create and help operationalize actionable and data informed initiatives across the organization based on BI's vision and strategy. Its goals are to establish and improve aligned and clear strategies, actionable and sound analytics, and operational excellence across the entire organization.
- The Strategy & Operations team is made up of the Analytics, Insights & Research (AIR) team and a Project Management Office (PMO).
- This person will be part of the PMO of the Strategy & Operations team, working with other leaders across BI's newsroom and business functions.
- This person will report to the SVP Strategy & Operations and help translate the company's vision into strategies and initiatives for departments and teams.
- The PMO serves as the internal launchpad for starting up new business areas and ventures that align to BI's strategy.
This person will introduce stellar project management and transparency to the organization in light of executing on our strategy. This person brings world-class communication, project management and presentation skills to the table to achieve success across different departments in the organization.
The Director, Strategy & Operations reports directly into the SVP, Strategy & Operations and sits on the Strategy & Operations team. This position is based in our New York HQ with an in-office presence of at least 3 days per week.
