What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at Business Integra Inc?
Responsibilites:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair structured cabling systems
- Identify and remove abandoned cables
- Test and certify newly installed or relocated cables
- Keep cabling organized and ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate records of time and materials
- Assist team members with installations and maintenance
- Work in various environments, including outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment
Required:
- Experience: At least one year in structured cabling or a related field
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certifications: BICSI certification required
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
