Responsibilities
- Assist inpatient care activities under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and assisting with mobility
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in patient interactions and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in clinics, emergency medicine, pediatrics, and other medical settings
- Practice aseptic techniques to prevent infections and maintain a clean environment
- Assist with medical documentation and record patient information accurately
- Support medication administration as per healthcare provider instructions
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is preferred
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and medical terminology is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of relevant training program
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 per hour
