Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
- Provide support in medical-surgical settings and assist with aseptic techniques as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
- Offer compassionate care to patients with dementia and geriatrics, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Engage with pediatric patients when necessary, providing age-appropriate care and support.
- Assist in the mobility of patients, including transferring them safely between beds, wheelchairs, or other locations.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver comprehensive patient care in both acute care and long-term settings.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Experience in medical-surgical environments or nursing homes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is an asset.
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Knowledge of medical records management and clinic operations is beneficial.
- Ability to perform aseptic techniques and understand infection control protocols.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care across all age groups, including children and geriatrics.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $26.57 per hour
