Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing compassionate care to patients with mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to care planning

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with psychiatric specialty certification preferred
• Previous experience in psychiatric nursing or mental health setting
• Knowledge of sterile processing, suture techniques, and medication administration
• Familiarity with long-term care, outpatient services, and medical imaging procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for health coaching and patient education
• Ability to provide care for infants, children, and individuals with behavioral health needs
• Experience working with children is a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,302.00 - $2,382.00 per week
