Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a healthcare setting.
Duties
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Manage medical records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Supervise and assist with procedures such as catheterization
- Implement pain management protocols
- Utilize eClinicalWorks or similar software for documentation
- Monitor and evaluate diagnostic tests and results
- Oversee dementia care programs
- Ensure compliance with ICD-10 coding standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Active RN license in good standing
- Proven experience in long-term care settings
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment and care planning
- Previous experience in nurse management
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar EMR systems
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
