Position: Structural Analyst – Advanced Development Programs
Location: Marietta, GA
Duration: 12 Months (Contract-to-Hire or Extension)
Work Schedule: 4/10-A
Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance with an investigation in the last five years or Continuous Evaluation (CE) enrollment required. Special Access Required (P-16) to start.
- We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analyst to join the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) Structural Analysis Team.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for defining structural specifications and conducting structural analysis on new primary and secondary airframe structures.
- This role requires expertise in both metallic and composite structural analysis, along with proficiency in engineering mechanics, statics, and strength of materials.
- Experience in systems stress analysis is essential.
- Conduct structural analysis for primary and secondary airframe structures.
- Establish and validate structural specifications for new designs.
- Perform stress analysis on metallic and composite components.
- Utilize advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to evaluate structural integrity.
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize structural performance and reliability.
- Proficiency in FEA tools: NASTRAN, HyperMesh, VISION.
- Experience with CATIA for design evaluation and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in engineering statics and strength of materials.
- Advanced Excel capabilities, including mathematical calculations and macro coding (highly desired).
