IT Deployment and Testing Technician
Location: Goldsboro NC(Onsite)
Position Summary:
The IT Deployment and Testing Technician will deploy and configure computers, peripherals, and printers to support IT infrastructure and clinical systems, including Epic. The role involves software installation, troubleshooting, and end-to-end testing to ensure device readiness for Epic Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure Windows-based desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Install software and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; escalate as needed.
- Perform end-to-end testing of Epic workflows and connectivity.
- Maintain records of hardware deployments and testing results.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff for seamless deployment.
- Provide basic user support and training.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1–3 years in IT hardware deployment or troubleshooting.
- Skills:
- Windows system deployment and troubleshooting.
- Healthcare IT experience (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A , Network , or similar.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional travel between facilities.
May require evening/weekend work as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.73 - $26.00 per hour
