Project Manager

BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Project Manager position. This is a contract-to-hire role. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida and the consultant is required to attend a weeklong onsite training initially. Consultant may work remotely for the remainder of the 9-12 month engagement with the possibility of occasional travel. Responsibilities:

• Set project goals and formulate plans to meet those goals
• Maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
• Manage resources
• Coordinate project team members and develope schedules and individual responsibilities
• Implement IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
• Conduct risk assessments for projects
• Organize meetings to discuss project goals and progress
• Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, changes, and potential risks.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and feedback.
• Provide regular status reports and updates to project stakeholders.

Potential candidate must possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems and/or a related field or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing large projects.
• Experience developing project artifacts/documents based on Project Management Institute (PMI) standards to meet project, delivery, oversight, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of databases and applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Must be multi-task-oriented and able to assess situations quickly; problem-solver.
• Strong ability to be self-directed and motivate, coordinate, and direct team effort.
• Must possess practical oral and written communication skills - as well as small/large group presentation, cultural competence, organizational, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use tact, patience and courtesy in group and one-on-one settings.
• Must be able to read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Strong PC skills required (i.e., Microsoft Office).
• Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

Preferred:

• Experience and exposure to Microsoft CRM Dynamics
• Medicaid health care provider experience

Pay: $71.77 - $81.59 per hour
