Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA, supporting our client ASML. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing FPGA-based solutions for high-performance systems used in semiconductor manufacturing. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and system engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop FPGA architectures using VHDL/Verilog.
- Implement high-speed digital signal processing, data acquisition, and control logic.
- Optimize FPGA designs for performance, power efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Perform simulation, verification, and validation of FPGA designs using ModelSim, Questa, or Vivado.
- Work with Xilinx, Client (Altera), or Lattice FPGAs for system integration.
- Interface with embedded processors, high-speed interfaces ( PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART).
- Debug and troubleshoot FPGA-related issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal integrity tools.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate FPGA solutions into larger systems.
- Document design processes, test plans, and implementation details
