We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations of a growing company. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records, provide critical insights to drive decision-making, and maintain compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, AP, and AR.
- Accounting Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
- System Expertise: Manage and optimize financial processes using QuickBooks Online and Aspire (Green Industry software); experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with senior leadership to develop financial strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
- Sufficient experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the Green Industry or a similar sector.
- Expertise with QuickBooks Online is required.
- Experience with Aspire (or similar software) –preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office—especially Excel.
- Strong knowledge of financial best practices, reporting, and compliance.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Compensation:
