Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Integration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, automating, and maintaining system integration processes for edge devices with cameras and compute platforms. You will collaborate closely with hardware and firmware developers, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across systems while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive functional use cases for edge devices incorporating cameras and compute platforms integration for candidates.
- Design and implement automated system testing processes for internal and manufacturing teams.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware developers, as well as other stakeholders, to define system requirements and validate final product compliance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to system integration processes and designs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to developers and team members, ensuring alignment with integration goals.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues related to system integration.
- Ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including system testing and code reviews.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and system reliability.
- Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and solutions with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems integration, software development, or software testing.
- Hands-on experience with integration technologies, including APIs, web services, and message queues.
- Strong programming skills in Java, C#, or Python for automating testing processes.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and with external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
