Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, assisting with product selection, and driving sales. Duties:
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations based on their needs
- Process customer transactions accurately using cash registers or other payment methods
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
-Be vigilant and proactive in identifying and preventing theft or fraudulent activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must stand/walk for long periods of times
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs. over your head.
