We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Co-director to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing multiple classrooms/staff and working within classrooms where needed. Duties
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategic plans for program growth and improvement.
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring programs are delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to foster professional development.
- Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring financial resources are allocated appropriately to meet program objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community partners, families, and funding sources.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to program operations and service delivery.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in ECE.
- Monitor program outcomes.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in program management.
- Strong budgeting skills with a track record of managing financial resources effectively.
- Experience in program development and working with diverse population.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Strong relationship management skills, capable of building partnerships within the community.
- Administrative proficiency, including experience with reporting and compliance documentation.
- A background in Early Childhood Education or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current on best practices in the field.
