Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Director & Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to implement strategic planning in educational activities while managing classroom dynamics effectively.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Educate children through a variety of instructional techniques, including play-based learning and hands-on activities.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect among students.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among children.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate findings with education administration.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
- Assist in budgeting for classroom resources and materials to ensure an effective learning environment.
Qualifications
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field from a recognized university is preferred.
- Proven experience in education administration or teaching at the preschool level is desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- Excellent strategic planning abilities to create engaging lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with early childhood education best practices and child development principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community members to enhance educational outcomes.
