Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of children aged 3 to 5 years old.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Provide individualized support for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
- Observe and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, documenting milestones and challenges.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational approach that supports all learners.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in childcare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in classroom management and fostering positive behavior among young children.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or special needs, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth through caregiving and educational activities.
