Position Overview:
As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for leading the HR function with a focus on talent acquisition, employee development, and succession planning. You will work closely with senior leadership to design, implement, and maintain strategic HR programs that foster employee engagement, leadership growth, and a strong organizational culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR leadership, with expertise in recruiting top talent, creating impactful training programs, and ensuring robust succession planning to build a pipeline of future leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Recruiting:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent. Develop strategies to attract diverse candidates and build a strong employer brand. Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Training & Development Programs:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve training programs that support employee growth, leadership development, and skill-building across all levels of the organization. Collaborate with department leaders to identify learning needs and create effective training interventions that drive performance and employee satisfaction.
- Succession Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive succession planning strategy to ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified leaders within the organization. Work closely with senior management to identify key roles, talent gaps, and opportunities for internal mobility and leadership development.
- HR Strategy & Leadership:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to shape the HR strategy aligned with organizational goals. Provide guidance and coaching to managers on HR best practices, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Employee Engagement & Retention:
- Design and implement programs that drive employee engagement, recognition, and retention. Foster a positive, inclusive culture that aligns with the company’s core values and promotes employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure that HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Stay informed about HR trends, labor laws, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant in all HR-related areas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in talent acquisition, employee training and development, and succession planning.
- Proven experience in developing and executing HR strategies that align with business goals.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
