About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Dean of Academics and Culture to join our senior leadership team at Butler Academy. This individual will be responsible for leading our high school division and driving academic excellence while fostering a culture of equity and inclusion.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development, program design, and pedagogy, as well as experience in coaching and mentoring instructional leaders. They will be able to analyze data to inform instructional decisions and develop effective strategies to improve student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with Butler Academy's vision and goals;
- Coach and mentor instructional leaders to improve teaching and learning;
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement instructional strategies;
- Analyze data to inform instructional decisions and develop effective strategies to improve student outcomes;
- Lead, facilitate, and plan professional development opportunities for teachers;
Qualifications:
We are looking for a results-oriented, determined leader with a strong track record of academic excellence. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, expertise in curriculum development, program design, and/or pedagogy, and a demonstrable commitment to pursuing equity.
