We are seeking a highly skilled Soldering Specialist to join our team at Butler Aerospace and Defense. In this role, you will be responsible for working on circuit card rework, first-time yield, and minimized damage during rework cycles. Your expertise in soldering, wire harness construction, and quality verification will be essential in achieving optimal results.Key Responsibilities:
• Micro-soldering under a microscope for extensive periods
• Building cables and harnesses from schematics, ensuring accuracy and precision
• Performing quality verification and inspection under a microscope, identifying defects and recommending corrective actions
• Recognizing failures, isolating problems, and suggesting appropriate solutions
• Operating multi-meters to conduct point-to-point current connections
Education Level Required:
Typically requires an Associate degree or other 2-year post-high school training with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience
