Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Assemblies Expert to join our team at Butler Aerospace and Defense. In this role, you will be responsible for working on circuit card rework, first-time yield, and minimized damage during rework cycles. Your expertise in soldering, wire harness construction, and quality verification will be essential in achieving optimal results.Key Responsibilities:
• Micro-soldering under a microscope for extensive periods
• Building cables and harnesses from schematics, ensuring accuracy and precision
• Performing quality verification and inspection under a microscope, identifying defects and recommending corrective actions
• Recognizing failures, isolating problems, and suggesting appropriate solutions
• Operating multi-meters to conduct point-to-point current connections
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Ability to solder electronic components, including surface mount, ball grid arrays, quad flat packs, and through-hole parts
• Proficiency in operating microscopes for inspection and installation verification
• Hot air rework and circuit card baking operations experience
• Familiarity with materials such as Humiseal, Parylene, and other conformal coatings
• Effective communication skills in a team-based environment involving engineers and functional leadership
