Butler Machinery is looking for a talented Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position supports the Accounting department with various duties including posting accounting entries, reviewing credit card transactions and receipts, reconciling accounts, and monitoring POs. Responsibilities :
- Monitors coding and supervisor approval for credit card transactions.
- Monitoring and researching of transactions in PO system.
- Reconcile assigned GL accounts.
- Post miscellaneous journal entries.
- Assist with calculating and submitting of sales tax returns.
- Downloads and distributes bank reports and posts select transactions.
- Work with Controller and Accounting Manager on special projects, as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
