Adjunct Clinical Instructor – Allied Health
Job Duties
Job responsibilities include preparing and teaching Allied Health classes on aging. The instructor would collaborate with other faculty members and the Faculty Development Team as needed to ensure continued success. This is a part-time (adjunct) faculty position. Butler uses electronic grade books and other forms of mediated communication. Free training is offered and required.

Qualifications
Required knowledge and skills
Knowledge of allied health program content and computer literacy required. Required personal attributes include integrity, emotional maturity, dependability, and effective communication skills. Knowledge of adult education methods and theories preferred.
Required experience
A minimum of two years of demonstrated nursing ability in the a long-term care setting is required.
Preferred experience: experience as faculty within a allied health program or equivalent experience in a long-term care setting.

Required educational background
BSN required and MSN preferred. A current license to practice nursing as an RN in the state of Kansas is also required.
