GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Information Technology Specialist will join a team of six who are responsible for providing technical support to assigned regions throughout the school district. These positions are the first level of contact from the Technology Department to the customer, and therefore, must have a strong customer focus, excellent communications skills, and well-developed problem-solving skills. This position may also coordinate the student-run IT Help Desk.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of High School diploma or GED;
- Possess CompTIA A certification or equivalent OR willing to obtain within 1 year of hire;
- Willing and able to obtain an Educational Aide permit from the Ohio State Board of Education;
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking;
- Excellent and demonstrated skills in :
Customer service;
Perform preventive maintenance;
LAN and AD Management and troubleshooting network problems;
START DATE As Soon As Possible
SALARY $37,129 - 50,737 with placement driven by primarily experience and secondarily by certifications
BENEFITS Includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; tuition reimbursement
WORK YEAR 230 days per year; 8 hours / day
