| GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This instructor will teach Project Lead the Way courses to high school students. Courses taught during the 2025-2026 school year will include Principles of Biomedical Science and Human Body Systems. It is anticipated that Medical Interventions and Biomedical Innovations will be added as course options for students in 2026-2027. These courses combine rigorous academics with the knowledge and skills to prepare students for diverse long-term careers in health care, research, specialized laboratory work, education, and management in the biomedical field.

| QUALIFICATIONS

Appropriate licensure/certification through the Ohio State Board of Education or ability to obtain proper licensure. Applicants must meet ONE OF THE FOLLOWING requirements to be considered for this position:

Current licensure in on the following areas; OR
- 132010 Integrated Science
- 132030 Life Science
- 074850 Biotechnology
- 070998 Diversified Health Occupations
- 074820 Diagnostic Pathway
- 070904 Medical Assisting
- 070303 Nurse Assisting
- 070305 Surgical Technology
- 074830 Therapeutic Pathway

Work experience and/or educational attainment in an related field as outlined below in addition willingness AND ability to complete Ohio’s alternative teacher licensure process, including university coursework:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree outside the content area and five years of relevant work experience; OR
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the content area and two years of relevant work experience;

Current licensure in on the following areas; OR
- Must successfully complete the Project Lead the Way teacher pre-assessment;
- Must successfully complete Project Lead the Way Summer Training Institute in Summer 2025 if credential not already held (Supervisor will provide information on registration and appropriate coursework.);
- Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member;
- Computer expertise appropriate to the position;
- Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
- State-issued identification card with photograph;
- History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
- Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.

| SALARY Based upon experience and education ($49,667 – 103,605)
