| GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Communications Coordinator plays a pivotal role in elevating Butler Tech Adult Education’s brand through compelling narratives that highlight student success and engagement. This individual will work closely with the Adult Education Recruitment and Retention Coordinator, as well as district marketing and public relations teams, to support key initiatives that drive enrollment and foster strong community involvement. The Coordinator will actively contribute to raising awareness of the programs and services offered, aligning with the district’s mission to engage and inform the local community. Additionally, the Marketing Communications Coordinator will serve as a key liaison between district staff, partner schools, and community members, helping to connect students with the right educational opportunities and resources.

| QUALIFICATIONS: To be qualified for this position, applicants must possess:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred);
- Prior work experience in marketing, public relations, recruitment, or digital communications;
- Demonstrated experience with social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies;
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences;
- Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
- Valid driver's license with access to personal insured vehicle during work hours;
- History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
- Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.
