| GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Guidance Counselor will support 10th – 12th grade Aviation students by providing activities and the environment for a broad, comprehensive developmental guidance program involving students, parents, teachers, administrators, specialists, and community agencies.

| QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree;
- Valid School Counselor licensure, certification, and/or registration as required by the Ohio State Board of Education;
- Successful counseling experience desired;
- Willingness and ability to work with students and staff as a team member;
- Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
- Computer expertise appropriate to the position;
- Valid driver's license;
- History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
- Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.
| STARTING DATE July 2025
| SALARY Based upon experience and education ($49,667 – 103,605)
| LOCATION Temporarily housed at Fairfield Township Campus; Will relocate to newly constructed space at Middletown Airport in January 2026
| BENEFITS Includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; tuition reimbursement
| WORK YEAR 185 days; 7.5 hours/day plus 20 extended days
