Construction Project Manager / Estimator

Butt Construction Company, Inc. is a General Contractor headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. Since 1927, we have completed hundreds of new construction and renovation projects, earning trust and confidence in the industry. Our clients include various branches of the United States Armed Forces as well as local government entities and institutional clients. We perform work for our customers in the greater Dayton area and at military installations across the country. Our diverse portfolio of projects includes runways, air traffic control towers, shooting ranges, medical facilities, research laboratories, office complexes, radar towers, water treatment plants, underground utilities, and more.

Role Description

The successful Construction Project Manager/Estimator candidate will be responsible for managing complex commercial/federal construction projects ranging in value from $1M to $30M. In addition to PM duties, the successful candidate will assist our estimating team in bidding new work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience managing and/or estimating commercial/federal construction projects
• Knowledge of construction industry practices and materials
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent Communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Experience managing/estimating self-perform concrete work is preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical system is preferred
• Experience scheduling with Primavera is preferred
