ButterflyMX is looking for a Billing & Collections Specialist (temp-perm) in our NYC office, to support our inbound volume of customer inquiries. The ideal candidate for this role is a problem solver with strong communication and interpersonal skills. This role is a full-time temporary opportunity with the potential to go permanent.
Responsibilities:- Provide outstanding customer support via inbound phone calls
- Manage incoming customer requests and resolve issues promptly and effectively
- Assist with billing inquiries including processing payments and managing customer accounts
- Process payments and update customer accounts as necessary
- Document all interactions and transactions in case system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve customer issues
- Maintain and update customer records in the billing system
- Identify and proactively address customer needs and concerns
- Contribute insights and feedback to help improve our processes
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures related to billing and payments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Empathetic and patient with a customer-centric mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
