What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker/Pastry Chef position at Butterjoint?
Sidecar is looking for a baker/pastry chef to join our team. This job will be 30 hours a week (40, as needed); Wed/Thur/Sat 5am-3pm. Candidates with prior baking/kitchen experience encouraged to apply. We are a scratch bakery/ cafe that makes scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls, cakes, pies and etc. We also make the desserts and breads/buns for our restaurant, Butterjoint.
The perfect candidate will posses the following skills:
Able to work effectively as a team
Read and follow recipes
Appropriately mix and shape bread doughs
Decorate baked goods
Ensure quality and freshness of items
Sanitation and general kitchen knowledge
