Lead Property Caretaker Role
The Lead Property Caretaker will oversee the care of a private residence and surrounding property, consisting of multiple houses, outbuildings, and a working hobby farm.
This full-time position is responsible for coordinating and executing the care and maintenance tasks of the buildings and property, including oversight of a team of employees and contractors.
- Manage weekly, monthly, and annual routines according to the usage of the property
- Schedule and oversee the Property staff in executing daily buildings and property maintenance tasks
- Develop intimate working knowledge of the buildings, property, and systems
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules for all buildings, systems, and equipment
- Conduct regular and in-depth interior and exterior maintenance inspections throughout the buildings and property
Requirements
- Property Management experience
- General knowledge of trades such as HVAC, plumbing, appliances, landscaping, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through of routines
- Ability to lift 30 pounds to a maximum height of 6 feet
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
