ROLE
The Property Manager will oversee the care of a private residence and surrounding property, comprising multiple houses, outbuildings, and a working hobby farm.
This role includes coordinating and executing the care and maintenance tasks of the buildings and property, as well as overseeing a team of employees and contractors.
The ideal candidate is a dedicated leader with a strong work ethic who is proactive, detail-oriented, and can balance multiple priorities in a hands-on environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage weekly, monthly, and annual routines based on property usage.
- Schedule and oversee staff to execute daily building and property maintenance tasks, ensuring task completion.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of buildings, property, and systems.
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules for all buildings, systems, and equipment, updating as needed.
- Conduct regular interior and exterior maintenance inspections, reporting findings and responding accordingly.
- Coordinate major repairs with contractors, ensuring successful completion.
- Arrange and monitor regular vendor services for property interiors and exteriors.
- Assist with special projects, including events held on the properties.
REQUIREMENTS
- Property management experience.
- General knowledge of trades such as HVAC, plumbing, appliances, landscaping, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a servant's heart approach.
- High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through of routines.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds up to 6 feet and occasional lifting up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate power machinery and lawn care tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
