Position Description:
Seeking a Senior Quality Tech in support of Combat Mission Systems' Paladin vehicle manufacturing program.
In this role, the Senior Quality Tech:
- Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols in a low-rate automotive-type manufacturing environment.
- Ensures requirements are met throughout various Assembly processes (e.g., Engine Test, Subs, Main line, Garage, Testing, Paint & Processing).
- Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation and control system protocols for in-process, partially finished, or finished tracked vehicle products.
- Collaborates with various support organizations to investigate, document, communicate, and resolve issues specific to various military vehicle build processes.
- Utilizes quality tools to drive continuous improvement and is capable of coordinating and leading project efforts with cross-functional support teams.
Skills Required:
- Understanding of Quality Assurance / Quality Control fundamentals and principles.
- Experience operating within ISO 9001 processes.
- Strong background in problem-solving techniques and analysis related to low-rate production.
- Proficiency in standard and industry-related software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized with effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
Skills Preferred:
- Formal training in root cause analysis.
- ORACLE MRP system knowledge.
- TIPQA experience.
- PFMEA experience.
- GD&T experience.
- Familiarity with portable metrology technology and development of inspection programs.
- Experience performing ISO and layered process audits.
Experience Required:
- High School Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Associate's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience Preferred:
- Experience working in a quality program in support of government contracts, preferably DoD.
- Experience working with the Defense Contract Management Association (DCMA).
Education Required:
- High School Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Associate's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
