Buy the Truck is a leading flooring importer seeking a strong, highly motivated, experienced floor covering sales representative!
Job responsibilities include calling on accounts to place our wood, vinyl, and laminate lines. 10 million feet in U.S. inventory to support you. Your territory would be in the broader Louisville, KY area and will expand to the surrounding area. This role is salary based commission, apply today!
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with current customers and potential customers within specific territory
- Assist customers by providing product knowledge
- Understand our products, our market competition and how to position products to overcome these factors
- Manage displays, samples, and selling tools
- Quote prices and discuss credit terms for orders
- Estimate date of delivery to customer
- Utilize all marketing tools such as product catalogs and websites to broaden reach in territory and promote our flooring products
Requirements
- FLOORING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Candidate must have a desire to succeed, be a motivated self-starter with proven sales experience
- Must have the ability to develop new leads by cold calling and making appointments
- Must have experience in identifying opportunities for growth and development
- Must be able to present oneself in a highly cooperative and professional manner when meeting customers
- 100% travel is required around the above listed territory and surrounding states
