Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Manager to oversee our distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proven track record in supply chain and logistics management. This role is critical in ensuring that our products are delivered efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure stock availability aligns with demand forecasts.
- Develop and implement distribution strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and lead a team of distribution staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Analyze distribution metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous operational enhancements.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and production, to ensure seamless product flow and communication.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and establish best practices for health and safety within the distribution center.
- Maintain relationships with external vendors and transportation partners to ensure reliable and timely delivery of products.
