We are seeking a Beverage Manufacturing Maintenance Control Technician to help design and maintain our beverage manufacturing processes and procedures. BuzzBallz / Southern Champion is one of the fastest growing companies in Dallas, developing and manufacturing Ready-To-Drink cocktails and is the number one selling ready to drink cocktail in the US. We operate various bottling lines, high speed canning lines, and assembly lines in addition to batching and logistics operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design, Install, Program and startup of control systems including AB PLCs and various HMIs & VFDs.Redesign, Troubleshoot, and repair control systems to improve productivity.Develop Preventative maintenance procedures for control systems plant wide.Participate in and direct troubleshooting activities in the event of equipment failure including failure analysis, problem solving and prevention.Participate in a continuous improvement culture while following safe workplace practices.Utilize CAD system to maintain system drawings.Team player, collaborative.Assist the maintenance department when needed.Must be able to work overtime, and weekends when necessary.Background experience in root cause analysis, problem solver.Can adhere to company GMPs, PPEs, and safety protocols.Minimum Qualifications / Acceptable Equivalency / Preferences
Must have at least 5 years understanding Ladder Logic and working with Allen Bradley PLCs, 500 and 5000 software platforms along with various drive controllers.Must have the ability to replace, install and program AB Powerflex VFDs.Candidate should have the ability to replace Panel view Plus and download applications utilizing RSview Studio machine edition.Experience with servo drives, motors and components are a PLUS.Working knowledge of statistical Process control methodologies.Good mechanical aptitude.Working knowledge of reading electrical schematics and prints.Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards.Must have at least 5 years of troubleshooting electrical controls while utilizing a multimeter from 480 volts AC to 24 VDC.Must have good organizational and communication skills.Requirements :

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Stand and walk for extended periods of time, occasionally stoop, reach, kneel, crouch and twist.Must be able to carry 25# if necessary.Must be able to access all parts of company equipment.Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.Environmental Factors - Safety is First!
