We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our US Sales Support team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the quoting process, ensuring timely and accurate sales support, and driving efficiencies to support the growth of our sales organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales support and team management, combined with excellent communication and organizational skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead the US Sales Support team to ensure high levels of productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely sales quotes, ensuring compliance with company pricing policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the sales team, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that customer needs are met and quotes are aligned with company objectives.
- Implement and optimize quoting processes and workflows to increase efficiency and minimize errors.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex or high-value quotes and customer requests.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to team members to enhance their technical knowledge, skills, and performance.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to support competitive pricing strategies and recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the sales support and quoting functions, leveraging technology to streamline processes.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics for the sales support team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to align sales support strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure all sales support documentation and communication are clear, professional, and consistent with company standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in sales support, quoting, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of quoting processes, pricing strategies, and sales cycles.
- Proven experience leading teams and driving performance in a sales environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a customer-first mentality.
