Key Responsibilities
Certifications & Approvals
- Review and provide final approval on all annual and interim certifications within 24 hours of file submission.
- Verify resident income, household composition, and overall eligibility factors in accordance with program requirements.
- Ensure that all certification forms and supporting documents are accurate, complete, and properly dated.
- Notify property managers once certifications are approved, allowing resident moveins to proceed.
- Maintain electronic and physical copies of all completed certification files.
- Assist with compiling and submitting required documentation for remote Desk Audits.
- Review resident files to identify any noncompliance issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Collaborate with onsite property management teams to gather and correct documentation.
- Track and ensure continued program compliance across the portfolio.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and assist in implementing new requirements.
- Transmit TRACS reports accurately and timely.
- Identify and report any certifications that could delay TRACS submissions.
- Pull, review, and distribute EIV reports to Property Managers.
- Participate in physical file audits or preaudit file reviews.
- Provide direct support to Property Managers during leaseups or acquisitions.
- Serve as a resource to Property Managers by providing training and guidance.
- Prepare and submit quarterly reports to regulatory agencies or thirdparty stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of certifications and compliance documentation.
- 3 years of experience in affordable housing compliance or property management.
- Strong understanding of LIHTC, HUD, RD, and HOME compliance.
- Experience using Management Operations Software preferred (Yardi, Door Loop, Onesite).
- Ability to interpret and apply compliance requirements based on evolving regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Salary : $45,000 - $85,000
