We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Director to lead our HR function and help shape the future of our growing organization.

Human Resources Director Position Overview:

The Human Resources Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. This role requires a strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves to execute initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture and support the company’s operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights and guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and employee engagement.

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent, particularly for restaurant, tours and management.
  • Design and implement retention programs to reduce turnover and enhance employee satisfaction.

Employee Relations and Culture:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s hospitality-driven values.
  • Serve as a resource for managers and employees to resolve workplace issues and maintain open communication channels.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and oversee training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee HR policies and procedures, updating as necessary to reflect changes in legislation or business needs.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and manage performance review processes that drive accountability and professional growth.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on employee development and disciplinary actions.

HR Operations:

  • Oversee HR systems, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, and/or HR certification.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage HR functions in a mulit-unit environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
