We’re hiring a Director of Operations with a strong background in transportation and logistics. You’ll support multiple sites by working alongside Site Managers to align performance with company goals, ensure compliance, and foster a culture rooted in accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide strategic oversight across multiple warehousing and logistics locations, each led by a Site Manager
- Travel to assess operations, support leaders, and implement performance improvements
- Oversee logistics functions at a multi-site level, including freight, warehousing, inventory, shipping/receiving, and regulatory compliance
- Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to drive efficiency, service, and safety
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and maintain service expectations
- Mentor Site Managers to strengthen leadership at the local level
- Implement operational best practices and continuous improvement strategies
- Support staffing, onboarding, and succession planning across locations
- Lead performance management and employee engagement initiatives
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, and company standards
- Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and tech tools for visibility and efficiency
What You Bring:
- 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics operations
- Proven success managing and supporting multi-site teams
- Expertise in warehousing, distribution, freight movement, and compliance
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and process improvement
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
