BWT is seeking a Part-Time Operations Hiring Generalist – Logistics & Transportation to lead recruitment efforts for key roles across the organization. In this hybrid position, you will have full ownership of the hiring process—from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. This role requires a strong background in full-cycle recruiting and hands-on experience with ADP and Tenstreet/Driver Pulse. You’ll work both independently and in partnership with hiring managers to meet staffing needs, maintain compliance, and deliver a great candidate experience.

BWT is seeking a Part-Time Operations Hiring Generalist – Logistics & Transportation to lead recruitment efforts for key roles across the organization. In this hybrid position, you will have full ownership of the hiring process—from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles
- Create job descriptions and define hiring criteria with managers
- Develop strategies to attract a diverse, qualified talent pool
- Post jobs and manage advertising across platforms
- Review applications, screen candidates, and maintain pipelines
- Conduct phone screens and provide written summaries to hiring managers
- Prepare and send offer letters and welcome letters
- Coordinate salary details, start dates, and onboarding steps
- Ensure timely completion of MVRs, background checks, and drug screens
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Provide general HR and onboarding support as needed
- Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience (required)
- Minimum 2 years of sourcing experience (required)
- Experience with ADP and Tenstreet/Driver Pulse (required)
- 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, proactive, and able to manage recruitment independently
- Highly organized with strong time management
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
- Prior experience in logistics and transportation (required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems
